In addition to ensuring that fish can live in a suitable temperature, it is also often used to treat sick fish or provide higher water temperature for some fish to promote their reproduction.

Except for the power supply, other parts of the heating rod should not be exposed to the water. If two heating rods are installed in the aquarium, try to install them on both sides of the tank respectively, which is conducive to uniform heating. For some fish that are not sensitive, it is best to add a sleeve to the heating rod to prevent the fish from being scalded.

1. Do not energize the heating rod in the air. Because it heats up extremely quickly in the air, it can burn out the heating rod in the slightest, and shatter the glass or burn your hands in severe cases. Even if the power is cut off, it cannot be taken out of the water immediately. At this time, the temperature is very high, and it is also easy to burn people and burn out the heating rod.

The life of the heating rod: We recommend that the bimetal heating rod should be replaced after one to two years of use, because the internal bimetal is used for a long time, and it is prone to malfunction, and the relative price is not very expensive, so as not to happen Some unnecessary losses. The replaced heating rod can be used for heating when changing water .

4. There is no need to buy imported heating rods, not only to support domestic products, but an ordinary bimetal imported heating rod ranging from more than 100 yuan to as many as several hundred yuan. According to 6 years of use, it costs 20 yuan per year. It is better to buy several domestic brand heating rods and use new heating rods every year.

5. There should be a spare heating rod at home, so that you don’t have to get up to boil water in the middle of the night if the heating rod is broken.

6. If the heating rod is broken, there is no need to repair it. Ordinary bimetal heating rods are not worth repairing, and they cannot guarantee safety after repairing. Ordinary people have no ability to repair split heating rods. It is estimated that the price of repairing by professionals is no less than buying a new heating rod.

7. Be careful not to expose the heating rod when the water level is too low.

8. Always observe the heating rod and thermometer. The indicator light of the heating rod does not indicate normal operation, and the water temperature shall prevail. Because often the indicator light is on, but the heating rod is not working. Of course, there are times when the light goes out and the heater sticks work, but that's rare.

9. A thermistor is used to detect the temperature outside the aquarium, and then two bimetal heating rods are connected. The two bimetallic heating rods in the aquarium are set at 28 degrees Celsius and adjusted to the state of synchronization as much as possible. The thermostat outside the aquarium has a liquid crystal display and a probe with a water alarm function. It is set at 30 degrees Celsius, so that it has double insurance .
